Hunter PVE Routine Guide

Hi, i have been a member of this forum since January 2013 and have never really shared anything but i want to be able to contribute to people asking which routine is better then others. Of-course some routines have their advantages and disadvantages but in terms of performance i will be evaluating the best single target DPS for BM hunter as of 01/03/2015.



A little bit about myself, i have been raiding in some of the realm top 15 PVE guild and even a top 20 world PVE guild. Im currently 683 Ilvl and check out my armoury for my current setup: Level 100 Orc Hunter | WoW World of Warcraft Armory Profiles | Masked Armory



Now, i think i have bought 90% of the routines available on the buddy store, not only for hunter but for all classes.



In my garrison i have decided to test out various routines, paid and unpaid, on a single training dummy with AOE turned off in every routine. Please bear in mind Barrage is still used as a single target because it provides nice boost even though its high focus cost. Now as i'm an Orc hunter i benefit from its racial which is Blood Fury which increases attack power by 345 for 15 seconds and has a 2 minute CD. i have not used any food buffs/potions or anything else that increases dps just pure routine.



I have been using ENYO with 15TPS as most people on here uses 15 default.



PLEASE NOTE: as the raiding dummies are so close ONLY BARRAGE hits 1 extra target the rest of the routine is single target based.



TUANHA Hunter Paid



First i tried out Tuanha Hunter PAID profile with his own raid routine.



First screen shot is 5m damage and as you can see comes out as 32.9kDPS

Second Screen shot is 10m damage and as you can see comes out as 31.8KDPS which is not a bad reduction from 5m to 10m

YRB(Your Raiding Buddy)

Next to test out was YRB all in one paid routine with just their regular setting.



firstly the usual 5M damage which i can see comes out a small bit better then tuanha at 33.1KDPS

SimCraft Implimented

Now i have also found a bot here which uses your characters simulationcraft to emulate a routine for your class, in this case a BM hunter.

This is a free Bot you can find on the Buddyforums. You do not need Routine as it creates one for you.



This routines/botbase based on your own simulationcraft actually performs the highest 5m dps within the finding so far scoring at 34.7kDPS

SBR (SOAPBOX ROTATIONS)



Now i don't know if a lot of you know but there is also an external bot base called SoapBox Roations which also acts as a Enyo with their own profiles. there is a high price depending on what you want but it utilizes the 64bit client.

(this is NOT Honourbuddy) i am using the 64bit client with the BM routine



this is the 5m test out pulling in 31.1kDPS which is pretty low compared to the others.

i found a small difference between the combat routines, Tunaha and YRB are the only ones that use Explosive trap for that extra bit of dps.

Will post more setting on other routines for Hunter if others want to know but for now just wanted to give you guys a taste of the dps differences between routines at the moment.
