Optimizing Framelock :What you'll need is an application that can automate process priority optimization. There is specifically one application that can accomplish this, and that is Process Lasso. There is an alternative called Process Explorer that was specifically developed as a technical tool for developers, though, it does provide a user the ability to set a 'Process Priority,' though, I've never really tested if setting the process priority is all that is needed. Personally, I use Process Lasso and set three (3) settings:
Priority Class,
I/O Priority, and
Memory Priority, for the specific Wow.exe [32] or [64] process. This guide will work with any application, or game.
Below I've listed links to Trial / Pro version of Process Lasso, and the Free version. I've also provided a link to Process Explorer, a Free automation / task manager tool, but not specifically designed for process priority.

Process ExplorerProcess Lasso Guide Download and install Process Lasso, once its installed open it.
Select Main and check Run Process Lasso with elevated rights, and ProBalance enabled. Now, we'll setup how Process Lasso starts. Select Options > General Settings > Reconfigure the way Process Lasso starts. First, select a
Startup setting it's fairly clear and a personal choice. Second, setup the Core Engine Startup, again it's a personal choice. Personally, I select the option for ALL users. Select Next to navigate to Multi-user options... make sure "Manage only the current user's process," and "Use recommended location (per-user)" are selected and select Finish.
Now that Process Lasso is basics are setup we'll setup a profile for a game, so start World of Warcraft and wait until you're character is visible within the game. Once your character is displaying within Wow, open Process Lasso by selecting the icon within the Task bar. Process Lasso should open and should display three (3) rows of information, the first row is a histogram, the second row is a list of processes, the third row (if active) is a log, but all you're concerned about are the processes, select '
Active Processes,' look for
Wow.exe [32] or Wow.exe [64], 32-bit or 64-bit, select YOUR unique process, you will only have ONE (1), and is determined how you setup / start World of Warcraft.
Once your Wow.exe process is selected right-click, a menu will display, we're only concerned with three (3) settings:
Priority Class,
I/O Priority, and
Memory Priority. **IMPORTANT**Do not select 'REAL-TIME,' for any setting, selecting this option MAY result in your system locking up/hanging OR catastrophic failure of devices or loss of data, and you'll have to force shutdown or restore. If you're not familiar with technology do not play around with this. You've been warned and I'm not responsible for anything you do, or by you using this guide.

You may also set identical settings for Honorbuddy.exe [32], which will improve performance, though, it is optional and up to you. Once you've set these values close out of Process Lasso. Return to Wow and you should notice an improvement in game play. This guide is exceptionally helpful for Raids, and Gatherbuddy.
Process Explorer Guide As for Process Explorer, simply download it, open it and make sure it is configured to start upon startup. Open wow the same way as mentioned above, then open Process Explorer locate your Wow.exe process, right-click and '
Select Priority' to
Normal -or-
Above Normal. If Process Explorer does not improve performance, then I'd recommend Process Lasso.
