How to get AutoAngler to prioritize Worm Supreme over Weather Beaten Hat

So this may just be me sounding dumb, but is there a way to make worm supreme take priority over the weather beaten fishing hat? I'm wearing the hat and have bought a bunch of worms, not sure how to change the priority and I'm reluctant to try and change that manually. How would one one just straight up disable the hat fishing lure, if you can't use a priority? I've gone to the "lures" file and basically //'ed out anything that even mentions the hat. Still didn't work : /.
