Questbuddy worked just fine up until I restarted my computer this morning.
The issue:
Honorbuddy launches, authenticates and loads just fine. When I load my questing profile from buddy store, it appears to load ok, however, when I press start, my frame rate drops from 120+ to 20-30 fps, and the bot just stands there lagging. It will not begin to quest. I noticed it will check a nearby flight master to obtain the flight path, but beyond that it will not progess, and the WoW client seems to lagging badly.
What I've figured out:
-The issue is only while attempting to use Honorbuddy on ONE of my characters.
-The issue only persists for questing on said character, BGbuddy appears to work still.
What I've attempted on my own with my extremely basic knowledge and google skills:
-Deleting the settings and cache folders.
- I also attempted a "clean install" of honorbuddy based on what I read on a different thread. I was unable to complete this. I attempted first deleting the honorbuddy folder and downloading the installer from honorbuddy.com. Upon running installer as admin, I am soon hit with the message "One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see the log file. 0x80070490 - Element not found"
Thank you in advance for your time, and patience with my limited computer knowledge.
